abstract = {Abstract: Environmental change and management activities were observed by means of a combined plot sub-catchment approach in forested areas with high share of degraded peat bogs in the upper Ore Mountains using the example of Carlsfeld watershed. The investigation focused on pathways and control factors of water and matter balance. Especially we discuss the parameter ‘Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC)’ and ‘Spectral Absorption Coefficient at 254 nm (SAK254)’ in its time dynamic and spatial characteristic. The results represent basics for stakeholder interests of user and nature protection.},
