%X Abstract: The methods of Ground Penetrating Radar and Photogrammetry are both excellent instruments for digital data collection. Ground Penetrating Radar in use on site with GPS-measurement delivers high definition digital cross sections, which can be used to construct three dimensional models of the peat body. The high definition aerial photos taken from an ultralight aircraft are evaluated with photogrammetric methods resulting in more defined information of the surface.
