%X Abstract: Mire stratigraphical, pollenanalytical and hydrological investigations have been used to reconstruct the development of kettle hole mires in the Plauer Stadtwald (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). Pollen analysis gives biostratigraphical information about history of vegetation, land use and bog development. Different phases of development of investigated kettle hole mires are shown. Rewetting measures are documented by hydrological investigations.
