Abstract
Es werden Aufgaben und Ziele der von der Torf- und Humuswirtschaft im westlichen Teil der Bundesrepublik getragenen Institutionen erläutert. Des weiteren wird die Struktur und gegenwärtige Situation dieses Wirtschaftszweiges beschrieben.
The tasks and objectives of the institutions supported by the West German peat and humus industry are explained. Furthermore, the structure and the present situation of this sector of the economy is described.
