Search Hints

You can search for documents in the repository by entering search terms in the search field or by using the menu navigation (browsing):
Searching via the search field is a full-text search of the contents of the repository, i.e. both the metadata (e.g. title, keywords) and the documents themselves are searched.
  • Input options in the search field:
    • Use quotation marks to do a phrase search. (e.g. "climate change").
    • If you want to explicitly exclude terms from the search, precede them with a minus (e.g.: sediment -carbon[with space!]).
  • Advanced filtering and sorting options are available on the left-hand side after entering und submitting a search term.
  • The search restriction (to a collection or series) appears directly in the search field. If you start the the search from a series, the search is limited to this series.
To browse the contents of the repository, use the subject tiles or the menus "Browse in GEO-LEOedocs" and "Sections and collections" above the search field.
