N2  - Es wird über den Moorforscher HANS SCHREIBER berichtet, der 1899 im Erzgebirge/Böhmen die Moorkulturstation Sebastiansberg gründete, die bis 1945 bestanden hat. HANS SCHREIBER war Initiator für den Deutsch-österreichischen. Moorverein‚ der von 1900 bis 1915 die Österreichische Moorzeitschrift herausgab. Im Auftrage dieses Vereins hat er 708 Moore in Österreich-Ungarn umfassend kartiert (Topographie, Geschichte, Stratigraphie, Vegetation‚ Nutzung‚ Schutz).
N2  - Report is given on the peatland scientist HANS SCHREIBER, who founded the peat culture station at Sebastiansberg (Bohemia) in 1899, which existed until 1945. SCHREIBER was the initiator of the German-Austrian Peat Society, which edited the Austrian Peat Journal (editor H.SCHREIBER 1900-1915). In order of this society he intensively mapped 708 peatbogs in Austria-Hungary (topography, history, stratigraphy, vegetation, use, protection).
